Arts Administration Talent Training Programme by Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles

2 -11 November 2025

The “Arts Administration Talent Training Programme for Hong Kong’s Development as a Sino-foreign Cultural and Arts Exchange Hub”, organised by the Hong Kong Members Association of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles , supported by the Publicity, Culture and Sports Department of the Liaison Office HKSAR, and exclusively sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, was held in Shanghai from 2 to 7 November 2025.

Nearly 40 elite arts administrators from Hong Kong participated in the 6-day intensive training, which fully covers thematic lectures, on-site teaching, case studies and cultural excursions! The programme focuses on policy, market, tech-driven arts, project management, and cultural-tourism integration, aiming to comprehensively enhance the overall quality and practical capabilities of arts administration talents, and support Hong Kong in developing into a Cultural and Arts Exchange Hub.

The curriculum of this training programme includes national literary and art policies, and development trends of the mainland’s cultural industry. It explores how Hong Kong can align with national policies to integrate into the country’s cultural development, tap into the cultural market, and explore innovative paths for the integrated development of arts administration operations and the cultural-tourism industry in the new era, so as to leverage Hong Kong’s unique cultural soft power. Combining national cultural policies, mainland market developments and specific cultural cases, instructors will discuss the experiences of both regions in Sino-Western cultural exchange, helping trainees gain a clear understanding of the broader mainland context and industry trends, and more effectively integrate into the development of the national cultural industry.
